Above Poverty Line (APL) Ration Card

Description :

APL Ration cards are an official document issued by state governments in India to households that are eligible to purchase subsidized food grain from the Public Distribution System. Every family residing in state is eligible to avail an Above the Poverty Line (APL) card.

It is one of the recognized address and identity proofs by both the state and the central government agencies. You can apply for the APL card if you are not eligible for BPL (Below Poverty Line) ration card. You are entitled to purchase 15kg of food grains based on availability from PDS stores if you have this card.

Eligibility:
1. Annual income should be more that 1.2 lacs per annum.

Documents Required:
1. Aadhaar Card of all family members
2. Aadhar registered mobile number of all family members.
3. Details of the PDS store from where you want to purchase the food grains.
